Hip-Hop ist nicht nur eine Musikrichtung! Nein, Hip-Hop ist viel mehr. Es ist eine Lebenseinstellung, ein Lifestyle. Dabei liegen die ursprünglichen Wurzeln von Rap und Hip-Hop in den USA. Besonders in den Ghettos von New York entwickelte sich die Rap- und Hip-Hop-Szene. Mit Anfang der 80er wurde dann auch die Musikszene immer mehr vom Einfluss des Hip-Hop geprägt. Größen wie Run-D.M.C., Curtis Blow, Ice-T , Public Emeny, oder Tupac brachten Rap und Hip-Hop dann auch mit riesigem Erfolg in die Charts. Heutzutage ist Hip-Hop kaum noch von Partys wegzudenken. Künstler wie Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Usher, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Rihanna, Drake, Cypress Hill und viele andere sind mittlerweile fester Bestandteil der Charts und guter Partymusik. Doch auch deutscher Hip Hop wurde mit der Zeit immer populärer. Von anfänglichen Bands wie Die fantastischen Vier, Fettes Brot bis hin zu Bushido, Sido, Kollegah und Co.
